RetainThis.com is a service that will remind you of events you wish to save. It will email you to remind you of one-time or recurring events shortly on or after the date and time of your reminder is up.
When are reminder emails sent?
Emails are usually sent a few times every hour. This depends on volume. Emails are generated and queued, then sent. If the queue has too much work to do, the remaining unsent emails are sent in the next queue.
Do you account for time differences?
Yes. We realize you may not reside in the same time zone as our server. Your local time is captured from your browser and compared with the server's time. An offset is calculated from this. If we are unable to compute your local time, your reminders are defaulted to our server time. Click here to see if we are accurately capturing your local time. Future functionality will allow users to modify the time offset in the event that it cannot be calculated automatically.
Is this service going to send me spam?
Absolutely not. This service will only send you emails for reminders you have entered in the system. Your email is not shared with any other party.
